He works hard for the money...

Tyler is leaving me today - I am bummed.

He has to go to Wichita Falls today through Thursday for work and I am a sad sack. Everytime he goes out of town I become this mopey, pitiful mess. I don't sleep well, I eat terrible junk, I get to sappy and whiney and it is pathetic. He is just so fun and we really enjoy each other's company. He is pretty bummed, too. He doesn't even have a coworker going with him this time - poor boy, we will both be depressed and alone.

But NOT this time! I have decided to not allow this to happen on this business trip. I am going to continue life as normal and keep myself busy - maybe it won't be so bad if I don't sit around being a bump on a log.

I have a busy week planned, so maybe it will go by faster than the past few trips he has gone on. Besides, I have Miss Ava to keep me company (and she is good company)!

So, if you see me between now and then - make sure I am being a joyful independent woman, not some miserable slug.
